The Players Golf Club is an official venue for The National Golf Club Challenge – on Saturday 24th July 2010.

The challenge is all about the Great British golfing community coming together on one day in support for our wounded service personnel.

The top six UK clubs will be invited to attend the grand final where The National Golf Club Challenge champions will be crowned.

The Players Golf Club opened in 2002 and is situated just one mile from Junction 18 of the M4.

One of the striking features is its maturity with woodland, lakes, trees and gorse coming into play. Put this on your 'must play' list as one notable golf writer said, "well, this is about as good as it gets".

About Help for Heroes – Help for Heroes was the idea of appeal chairman Bryn Parry and a group of friends and relations. They wanted to help wounded soldiers returning home from combat and came up with several fundraising ideas which led to Help for Heroes being born.
