Lingdale Golf Club is an official venue for The National Golf Club Challenge. The challenge is all about the Great British golfing community coming together on the same weekend in support for our wounded armed forces.

Players from the six top scoring clubs will be invited to attend the grand final where The National Golf Club Challenge champions will be crowned. Find out more at www.ngcc2010.com.

Lingdale Golf Club – Lingdale nestles in the picturesque surroundings of Charnwood Forest in the heart of the North West Leicestershire countryside. Visitors and members are treated to a golf course which challenges golfers of all abilities, spectacular views. The course was designed in 1966 by course architect David Tucker and was described by Tony Jacklin during a visit in 1989 as having 'probably the toughest opening three holes in the Midlands'.

About Help for Heroes – Help for Heroes was the idea of appeal chairman Bryn Parry and a group of friends and relations. They wanted to help wounded soldiers returning home from combat and came up with several fundraising ideas which led to Help for Heroes being born. The charity are completely non political and accept wars happen under any government, all they want to do with the help of the British public, is to assist our wounded heroes.
